Honeycomb motif
The dial is adorned with a honeycomb pattern featuring a satin finish. Its creation calls upon traditional craftsmanship as well as high-technology processes, all mastered in-house.
The honeycomb structure is cut using a femtosecond laser, which is also used to engrave the fine lines within the grooves separating each cell. The dial features a Chromalight display: open luminescent numerals and index hour markers provide optimal legibility in all conditions. The hands are also luminescent and have been specially designed for this model.

Fluted bezel
The Rolex fluted bezel is a mark of distinction. Originally, the fluting of the Oyster bezel served a functional purpose: it was used to screw the bezel onto the case, ensuring the watch’s waterproofness.
It is therefore identical to the fluting on the case back, which is also screwed onto the case to guarantee water resistance, using specific Rolex tools. Over time, the fluting became an aesthetic element, a distinctive feature of authentic Rolex watches. Today, the fluted bezel is a symbol of distinction, crafted in gold on this Land-Dweller 40.

White Rolesor

A true Rolex signature, Rolesor has featured on Rolex models since the early 1930s and was registered as a trademark name in 1933. It is one of the major pillars of the Oyster Perpetual collection.

Flat Jubilee bracelet
Specially designed for this watch, the Flat Jubilee bracelet is a reinterpretation of the iconic Jubilee bracelet. Flat Jubilee differs in that all links are flat, and it integrates perfectly with the Oyster case to form a balanced, harmonious whole, with an alternation of polished and technical satin finishes.
